Jamaica Dogsled Team to Train With Three Time Yukon Quest Champion as Part of 2007/2008 Winter Race Schedule

WHITEHORSE, Yukon Territory, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Danny Melville owner and founder of the Jamaica Dogsled Team announced today that his lead musher will train with former Yukon Quest champion Hans Gatt in the hopes of qualifying for the 2009 Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race -- billed as the toughest sled dog race in the world.

"Two of our mushers will train in Jamaica and Minnesota and our head musher Devon Anderson will train here with Hans. With races scheduled throughout the season in the US, Canada and the training and qualifying races to take place here in the North, we are thrilled to have the expertise of a champion like Hans to help us build a team and the skills of our mushers," says owner Danny Melville.
