NEW YORK -- Island Records founder Chris Blackwell's indie film imprint Palm Pictures Palm Pictures has picked up worldwide rights to helmer-producer Andrea Stewart's in-production docu "Sun Dogs."

Pic follows the Jamaican dog-sledding team prepping for the 2006 U.K. Dog Sledding Championships in Scotland as rocker Jimmy Buffett roots on the team as its official sponsor.

Danny Melville is exec producing the pic with Blackwell, David Koh and Leigh Ingleby....
